Goods will be delivered to you, the buyer, at the address provided by you. We prefer to deliver to the address that is the billing address of your credit/debit card, on exceptional circumstances we can deliver to an alternate address. You will become the owner of goods you have ordered when they have been paid for.
Any dates quoted for delivery of items are approximate only and we shall not be liable for any delay in delivery of goods however caused. Estimated delivery times for Royal Mail 2nd Class are 2-4 days, if the there are delays this may take up to 15 days, Royal Mail will not accept any claims for failure to deliver or items lost in the Mail system until 15 working days have elapsed. In many cases Royal Mail items are delivered by 2nd Class Post within 2-4 days, we cannot process any claims for lost or missing items until 15 working days have lapsed. Royal Mail 2nd Class Post cannot be tracked, if you require a tracking service we can provide this as part of our express delivery option.
Delivery charges:
Are based upon Royal Mail Postal rates for Second Class Post, the fees charged are inclusive of VAT and also include the cost of all packaging materials and other charges incurred. If required we can also provide proof of postage. Royal Mail Second Class Post is not tracked, this the default or standard shipping option listed on our website as this is one of the most economical options available for delivery.
We can provide express delivery via a courier which we shall nominate, there may be an additional charge for this service we urge customers to check delivery prices on our website as the Royal Mail fees have recently increased significantly. Express sevices are normally tracked so you can track your consignments on line. If tracking information is available, upon request this will be provided by email, it is important that you provide your contact details to us which are provided to the courier (inc mobile phone numbers) so they may contact you with delivery information, this is to ensure that if your item cannot be delivered they can contact you to re-arrange delivery should they have difficulty delivering your order.
Under normal circumstances Royal Mail or the nominated Courier will make 1 or 2 attempts to deliver your item, if delivery information has been provided to you by the courier for tracked items it is your responsibility to ensure some one is available to recieve the items. If Royal Mail or the nominated Courier advises / notified you they have attempted to deliver the item they may transfer the item to a Post office or the Couriers depot as they have not been able to deliver your item, it is your responsibility to arrange for the items to be collected in a timely manner.
Within the UK the express service will normally be delivered within 24-48 hours of reciept of your order our working days are Monday - Friday (exceptions being public holidays) under normal circumstances we confirm your order on the following working day only. For offshore locations and the highlands of scotland the service level is reduced to 48-72 hours and will be dependant on local conditions which may delay delivery.
We try to maintain an inventory of product to meet our customers requirements, if we are waiting for product to be released by quality control or product to be manufactured. Your order may be delaid, we shall make every effort to fulfill your order as quickly as possible.
All consignments sent to EU locations (outside the UK) will incurr VAT which will be charged at the prevailing rate, currently 20% for companies or retail customers who are not VAT registered in their country of residence.
VAT is a complex subject and for companies located outside of the UK clarification of VAT charges will be reffered to HMRC.
International consignments can be arranged, the prices detailed on our website are supplied by the Royal Mail, if however the price of shipping to your location is unacceptable, please contact us as an alternative couirer may be able to provide a cost effective solution.
Please note that if you require a tracked delivery service you must contact us directly as standard international Royal Mail service does not provide a tracking facility.
The cost of shipping is detailed on your order and is based on the overall weight and size of the consignment which may contain additional packaging which is necessary to protect your goods during transit, for further information please contact us by telephone or email. Please note that the cost of packing materials, labour and transportation of your order to the post office depot is inclusive in the P&P charge.
